I have two coolant lines capped off on my z6. One is on the drivers side of the motor right behind the water pump, where does this go to??? The other is on the passenger side of the block right before the thermostat, where does this go?? they are both on the smaller side. please let me know asap, tia

 

sounds like the heater core lines, from what your describing. they run to the 2 metal pipes on your firewall. it is for your cars heater

 

i don't believe so, these are smaller i have the big heater hose connected but these are small. one is on the back of the block near the waterpump and one is on the back of the block near the thermostat housing??? i need help

 

those are for your Idle air control sensor.it is the sensor in the back of the intake manifold just hook up the hoses to the ones they are closest to

 

well i have it in a 90 ef hatch and i'm running a d16a6 IM, where would they go to on that??? please help!!!

 

where im telling you at one should go to the idle air control and the other actually goes to a little hose on the bottom of the throttle body

 

so i'm thinking that the one on/near the thermostat housing goes to the bottom of the tb, then the tb goes to the iacv/eacv, then the iacv/eacv goes to the nipple on the water pipe near the water pump??

if so where does the hose on the passenger side of the intake manifold down by the deck of it go to??? i am confused i thought that went to the bottom of the tb? please help!!

 

ah! your confusing me lol i havent messed with a sohc in awhile.from what i remember everything you mentioned on the first sentence is right tomorrow ill go check on my boys sohc and tell ya. but that last hose i think goes to another little hook up by the thermostat housing
