Ok out of the two axle do it matter which axle goes to which side?

and if it does which one goes on which side?

 

One is slightly shorter than the other, so it does matter. I forget which is shorter (I think the driver's side) but you should just pay attention when you take them out, as to which goes to which side.

 

i had my car at the local community college i am doing a engine swap there. I had the axle's sitting on there right side's some one moved them i i don't know which one goes to which side.

 

The inner splines are what is different on the left and right CV shafts. One has the splines going all the way to the shoulder and one has them going about halfway down to the shoulder. The one with the splines all the way down will fit on either side, but the other one where the splines don't go all the way down only fits on one side. Unfortunately I don't know which side the "half-splined" CV shaft goes. If you can't find out exactly which one goes in which side then take the "half-splined" and see which side it slides in all the way.
