i have a bbk 62mm throttle body and i heard that may be my reason for not having vtec cross over...could it happen

no its that the friend i got it off of had tryed it on his em1 and he said vtec didnt cross over so i got it and put it on my ls btu now that im ls vtec and for some reason im not hitting vtec...just trying to narrow the list of opions

 

no a throttle body wont cause no vtec

 

it could be your tps or also if your car does not warm up or get warm enough it wont kick in. also could be a map sensor. do you have a cel light on or does it rev limit at arount 4k

 

no cel and that trottle body ran fine on my ls
