Default another f22b dohc question????

which headgasket is used in this motor? wll one from a sohc f series work? also which water pump is used? i heartd u use one from a B series is this true? and also what timing belt? i just want to clear things up cause im in the middle of doing the headgasket and im stuck.

JDM F22B DOHC = F22Ax (bottom end) / H23a1 (top end)

so you'd use an h23 head gasket and f22ax water pump

for the belt it's an h23 i believe, but just to be sure, just take yours to the local auto store and get one of the same length

ok thanks for the info guys! i heard the h23 has a bigger bore wouldnt that affect using a h23 headgasket the bore on the f22b is smaller wouldnt it not seal properly? i duno just a thought ...

NOT TRUE!

The H23 has a larger bore, and FRM sleeves.

As far as I know, you would use F22Ax headgasket because the bore is identical to the F22Ax sleeves.

an f22b cylinder head is the same as an h23 head, the bore difference doesnt matter. a 2mm difference in bore wont matter as far as the gasket is concerned.
