96 S prelude engine swap to H22 vtec
Does anyone own a 4th gen S prelude and have swapped a H22 engine into it? Im considering having it done to my 96 S and I would just like to know if its a relatively easy swap for someone to do { I imagine it is}
Yeah, I've done it, and it's probably the easiest of all Honda swaps. Everything bolts up perfectly like the engine was meant to be in there or something! (

As you have a 96 (OBD 2) car I would stick to getting a 96 and up H22 to cut down on wiring troubles!

I agree completely. Also keep an eye out for an older ('93-'96, M2F4) transmission. The gearing is a lot better than the newer 5th Gen transmissions.
