he is.
he is.
I used to have some Recaro's... not the ITR ones... and I'm pretty if you lift the cusion, there is sticker tag... and I beleive on the metal where the seat reclines (that whole contraption) it is stamped recaro.
Regardless if they are knockoff, they probably came from the same factory... so who cares!

Actually no, thats not what I was saying at all.
Most large companies will do this. Rather then letting another company duplicate their seat, they will sell their seat without a logo on it at a reduced price to the 'knock-off' company so that Recaro/Brand Name will not lose money to some copy cat company. They don't make 'replicas'. That impossible. They came off the same line, just without the Recaro logo, and any kind of FIA approval. This is a common thing to do in business.
Alright... now you HT-Professionals can start making your incredibly witty remarks!

Yeah right...i guess it would happen something like this:
The Tiawanese Rocera Seat Company decides to make a bunch of fake recaro seats and sell them.
Recaro head of marketing gets to hear about it as he keeps tabs on all companies all over the world who may be producing fake recaros seats and phones them up and says "Hi there, do you speak english? You do, good! I hear your making fake recaro seats and selling them??? Tell ya what we'll do for you, we'll make a bunch of seats but we'll not put our logo on them, they'll be the exact same spec are as branded ones, we'll sell you them cheap so you can make some money on them and it'll save you a whole bunch of time as you wont have to make your own, hell you can even sell your factory and semi retire and just call me up when you run out of the first batch.
