need to know when motor is at TDC

just need to know how to tell when the cylinder is at TDC

do you know how to do timing? well look at your crank pulley and theres some marks and a pointer on the plastic part when the middle mark on the pully is lined up with the pointer your at tdc.

then all i have to do is but the balancer back on??
this is my first time trying to fix my timing belt so i am just kinda taking advice but if u know a good DIY it would really help me

**** you should have said you were doing a timing belt search for a how to. you allready have everything apart? theres marks on the cam gear and crank gear.
