i have a 91 accord wagon. its a stolen/recovery, its been fixed, but the problem is whenever i turn on the windshield wipers the car dies....it is a combo switch, all the other functions work on the switch.....anyone have an idea what i can do?

 

The first thing I'd suspect is wiring faults under the steering column shroud, it is easy to remove and then you can do a visual of the wires.
the thieves might have ripped somehitng apart in there. If battery + backfeeds a ground wire, the resulting voltage at a component is zero volts.
