I guess i have general idea of what it is, but i need u guys to confirm it. I took my car to the dealer to have my cap and rotor replaced. After that is done , i went home to check their work, and what i see my Dist cap is full of dust, and it seems is like the old one. Now, how can a new cap have dust cover it?
What i am not sure is, is the cap, the cover of the distributor where the spark plugs connects?

should have did it yourself.............and yes the spark plug wires hook up to the cap....you have a diagram so i dont see wat the problem was.

 

yea seriously why have someone do it for you when you can do it yourself.

 

Yea, i should have changed by myself.
Now , what pisses me is that the old cap is still in the car with all the dust.
I dont think they replace my cap. I gonna complaint tomorrow
