i have a 95 integra with a set of 17" velox vx8's on it,what is the recommended tire size,right now i have 205/40/17.it seems like they do not fit right and the rims is larger than the tire,i bought these from someone else and dont know what the right size should be.can someone help me
the rims are 17 x 7.5

 

are you saying the rim width is wider than the tire width?...if so try 215/40/17

 

not less but the exzact same,the wheeels are 17-7.5

 

205/40-17 is the proper tire size for your car, and it should fit fine on 17x7.5 wheels.

They should look fine, too; I don't know what you mean about the rim being larger than the tire...

 

maybe i am just paranoid but it looks like the rims is wider than the tire,so the tire is stretchin,i may be wrong i was just making sure before i buy new tires,thanx all
