Default f1 racing/lite flywheel

Has anyone used the gripforce f1 racing lite flywheel? I have one for the 89 crx and its narrower than the stock flywheel, my mechanic said that the distance is too great and the pedal wont engage properly. He's a honda dealership mechanic and he showed me and its definitely narrower than the stock clutch.

Anyone else have this problem with their lite flywheels?

Is there going to be any difference in pedal engagement? The reason I'm concerned is if it doesn't fit then its going to cost me a grip to have it taken out again.

no offense but most honda mechanics dont have a clue what they're talking about with aftermarket parts,..like if you took them a b16 crx with a problem the 1st thing they'll say is,, "this is the wrong motor and we need to put the correct engine back in".</TD></TR></TABLE> agreed, i had one of those kits, with the exedy clutch, and f1 lite flywheel, and never had any problems

no, everything is alright, these are good replacement kits, ive installed one on my car, and one on my buddies, with no problems afterward, and ive read many times that mr speaker has used these with no complaints. so i think you will be good

No I ordered it as a package as well. The clutch (exedy) fit perfectly. But I was wondering if the flywheel was the wrong size? The mechanic said he's seen two sizes for the 89 crx. I guess the best thing is for me to call the company I bought it from and double check the numbers and see if they sent me the right one?

I appreciate your guys help.
