Has anyone seen a Carbon Fiber Lip for the 06 Civic (Si) yet? I'm jones'n real bad for one but can't find it anywhere. I wrote emails to VIS and Siebon but appently they don't want to sell me a product so they didn't write back. I've seen the Carbon/Fiberglass mix but I don't want those huge fins hangin out. Just a simple carbon fiber lip like for the older Si's. I mean the Car has been out for an entire year now! How much longer do we Have to wait???

This is a totally different design. Why would you want to put an older style CF lip on? That will not look right. Just be patient and try to be different. J's Racing has one out I believe. Search around and you will find.

 

I'm not saying I want to put an old lip on a new car. Just the simplistic Styling of the older lips. Basically, I want a 3" lip that just wraps under the bumper tight.

since seibon doesnt wanna write u back.. ill ask the guy i know there personally when i get out to SEMA.. plus they have my car there rite now so ill ask em wen they think a cf lips gonna be out..trust me ur not the only one who wants one! i reallllly want one too but they decided to just throw a non-cf lip kit on my car instead for sema so eh.. im stuck with this for now.. but yeah i will def let u guys know somethin as soon as i find out myself..

 

a nice simple front lip is a def. must.

damn i really need to move to the west coast so i can get hookups too....can i come live with you?

but yes i wish someone would PLEASE make some cf parts for us....is there still a shortage of the cf?

 

If you find one, post it up asap. Clean CF front lips are sex.

it is not carbon fiber in general that is in the shortage, just mainly 3k fabric which is what most chinese carbon manufacturing uses such as ViS and Seibon uses. Which most of your don't know Seibon and ViS stuff is made by the same manufacture so in essence the same product, just different tolerences

 

ok just fyi.... today at SEMA i was speakin with the reps at Seibon and was informed apparently they are not gonna be making any cf lips for the si's in the near future....... he didnt say when.. all i know is its gonna be awhile! they said it was because somethin about the fitment and they couldnt get it to fit the bumper right.. blah blah blah..
all i can say is hopefully some freakin company will think of a way to have it fit right without lookin all half *** like that other crappy black lip they got out.. and soon! i told the guy at seibon theres a ton of ppl waitin for a cf lip so chop chop!

so we'll see i guess.........

if honda can make a lip that will fit,,,why can't they?

exactly, everything they make is a copy of something so they can make it fit
