Squeaky/Creaky sounding clutch travel?
I get that too. Mine tends to go away once the car has been driven for a good long time.....so I think it may be heat sensitive. For me, I replaced my clutch and although I lubed the **** out of everything I was supposed to, I guess I still didn't put enough on. My guess is it is the motion of the fork and clutch release bearing. They are the only major moving parts when you push the clutch pedal aside from the clutch itself.....but I don't think there is anything with the clutch assenbly itself that will sqeak. Especially if the car is not moving. You "could" take the boot off of where the slave cylinder mount and spray some WD-40, but I know they specifically say to use grease only on the moving parts in there so although that may work it would not be a good, or long term solution.
Mine does that too on my 95 coupe... I'm assuming a good shot of WD-40 in the right place will solve our problem... I haven't had time to look yet where to spray... might have to remove some stuff to get to the pivot point for the clutch pedal or the tension spring...
Yep same problem here. Sometimes I have to move my car manually from the outside to get the key to turn in the ignition, with the clutch pedal down alll the way. Its so ghetto. I think it something to do with some mechanical part of the transmission, but oh well it stiill turns though
