how long do gsr motors last without feeling sluggish up top.
or any non vtec b-series motor. i just want to know because i'm still trying to decide whether or not i want an integra, civic(hybrid), or to just get a gli.
My gsr felt real slow right up to my 25,000 mi. maintenance, at which point the valves were readjusted, among other things. When I got my car back it felt like new. How carefully the engine was broken in during its first 600 or so miles also determines its performance later in life.
damn! that's good news right there thanks, both of u. i might actually get a honda this time.

'94 GSR Coupe, second owner, 140K miles, runs really strong
And about the two different companies thing, you're joking, right? An Integra, and I apologize to everyone that doesn't realize it, is a rich boy's civic, and I'm damn proud of it.

92 LS with 134,000 miles and still going strong. I've racked up 20,000 miles in this last year alone. Just keep up with the maintenance and you're good to go.
proper maintenance on ANY vehicle and you will have a long life of bliss with your car.
when I worked at ford we had plenty of cars with over 200k miles on them, they brought them in for regular oil changes every 3k miles, brake jobs when nessisary, air filters, any maint that had to be done.
and then, we also saw some cars that had 30k miles getting new engines because the car had never had an oil change.
do you scheduled maintenance and don't go overboard on the racing and you should be OK.

My GSR still continues to wow me. Damn thing handles like a madman in the canyons/autocross, pulls over 1g (skidpad proven), is quick and can stop from 60-0 in 114ft. Borderline supercar handling performance out of a HONDA!
Can't wait to crack the engine and do some N/A mods
My Gs-R has 50,000 miles on it.. it runs like **** if i run it normal all day...When it acts up i run the **** out of it and its nice and calm and spunky!
