small question about wheels
sry uh, what does offset mean, i was planning to get 16" circuits for my 00 si but i dont know what "offset" means and i dont want to get the wrong ones. Thank You in advance
oh and uh right now i have 17 or 18 inchers on (not my choice) and my car is dropped, will getting 16inchers lower my car even more?
and one more question, what do the numbers **205/55/16** mean for tires?

You should choose tires that have the same outer diameter as your stock tires. So regardless of the wheel size, the ride height won't change. On a 2000 Civic, that means 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 for 15" wheels, 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 for 16" wheels, and 205/40-17 for 17" wheels.

That means that the tread is 205 mm wide, the height of the sidewall is 55 percent of 205 mm, and the wheel is 16 inches in diameter (measured at the bead, where the tire is mounted, NOT the outer diameter at the lip).
