Well my Greddy EVO exhaust is starting to fall apart. The inside on the muffler is cracking all around... Is this suppose to happen? I only had this exhaust for roughly 2 years on a 1999 Integra.

How does the Greddy 3-year warranty work? Am I suupose to get another exhaust for GReddy?

 

By about 3 years, a Greddy has pretty-much blown out all it's packing and is well on it's way to rusting out... so yes, I'd say it's normal.

I don't know about their warranty though.

 

A friend of mine actually had his greddy exhaust do that after about two years of use. He actually had to speak to the dealer and they actually replaced it. I'm pretty sure they will cover it as longs as it doesn't have alot of scraps and isn't modified.

 

GReddy exhausts suck, the same thing happened to my friend's car. He had the GReddy SP.

 

the warranty is 3 yrs.. but they pretty much dont honor it if you have a lowered car and it has scrapes (which had NOTHING to do w/ my exhaust blowing out chunks/cubes of fiberglass/composite sound deadening material).. this was on a Greddy SP... the resonator also rusted out and made an annoying rattling sound... when that happened I called them up and asked if I could "BUY" a b-pipe w/ resonator.. and their like "NO.. we only sell our exhausts in full systems" great service to a customer that spent $1,000 huh? (i have an SP and an Evo on diff cars)...

 

Odd I know friend with WRX in Japan with greddy exhaust and had it for over 3 yrs and never had anything like what you guys are talking about happen to him.
Though in Japan most items never carry warranties or if they do they tend to be only 1 yr ones. I wonder if US just gets sub std Greddy exhaust sys compared to what the rest of the world gets because overseas half of exhausts sold here are not even the samething.
