Default D16z6 swap.....

hey i have a 94' civic dx that im wanting to do a swap too.... anyways i have a d15B7 in it right now, and im wanting to drop a a d16z6 in it. The problem i have is that the transmission on the d16z6 is pretty much dunsacked so i've heard that my transmission will work on the d16 and even improve my gas miliage, but i heard the downside is that i will have slower acceleration.....i dunno if thats true or not. Anyways about the swap whats the biggest concerns i will have to deal with while im doing this swap?? Also sense i dont have v-tec i would like to know how much that cost to wire up, or how to do it myself.......any help would be great!! thanx. Also i have a brand new AC system that im getting rid of, so if anyones interested let me know...

your dx trans will bolt up to the d16z6 no problems. if you're resourceful, you can get the required plugs for FREE-$10

Then all you would need is a few butt connectors and a $3 roll of wire.

if you can get a hold of an EX/Si engine harness that would be nice, other wise just use a subharness
