code 0111... anyone ever get this one?

code 0111... anyone ever get this one?
P0111 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem
not sure what the difference is between code 10 and 0111, but apparantly, it has to do with the IAT sensor being bad.. I know that my IAT is plugged in correctly, but could the problem have to do with the fact that my engine is a d16y7 and I have a y8 manifold swap?
I plugged in the IAT sensor into the intake tube like it is on the stock y8.
or could the sensor just be bad?
