Noob ? . difference between 2 welders?

Noob ? . difference between 2 welders?
I can get a new precision 225 lincoln welder for 1750.00 but a miller syncrowave 250 is over 3 grand. Is there that big of difference between the two? Whats the major difference?

i used the 225 in school and the one at work is the 250. i really didn't knotice a big difference but i like the lincoln a little bit better.....mainly cause its cheaper and the 250 is huge
