Default Changing a 91 HF CRX Motor to a 91 SI Motor What is needed?

I know I need the tranny and engine. What else can I use off of the HF? Do I need to use the SI axles or will the HF work? Will I need to change the Hubs also??

I would suggest changing the spindles and axles. Just due to the size of the Hf axles where they go into the hub. You will have to get Si ECU. And you will have to change de-pin/re-pin a few wires.

I have the hubs/knuckles and all the brake parts from a 91 integra. Will this work? Will I need a new wiring harness or can I use the one that is in there? What about the intake manifold, injectors and distributer? I will be using a motor from a 92-95 SI/EX or 96-00 EX

most of the stuff from the hf you can use...all you mainly need is the wireharness if its not mpfi if it is you shouldnt really need it cuz the sensors should be the same...but still should get it....better to be safe than sorry..engine rest dnt really matter...id get the gauge cluster from the si also and the 87-ish zc integra ecu for redline of 7800rpms and it has better a/f ratios will work so dont worry about it...axles not really needed to change but you can if you want. use the 90-91 civic si motor so you dnt need to do as much work...keep the HF manifold get a adapter plate and turbo that bitch!!! lol

The intake manifold is different from a hf to a si.

All you really are going to need the do the swap from hf to any other singlecam. Is the pm6 civic or crx si ecu if you running obd0 and the civic or crx si intake manifold. you can use an obd1 manifold with a little modifacation. The axles will work with the si tranny. You dont have to de-pin any wires because the hf came fuel injection.

I've been reading recently on the boards that the HF injectors are smaller too 190CC compared to the 240CC in the SI, anyone want to confirm, they at least have different honda parts numbers

Done that a few times. I wouldn't use any of the HF parts, like manifolds, injectors, etc. What you need from the HF is the wiring harness which has all you need to work with the Si engine. Both the HF and Si are MPFI so you are set to go.
I have the HF axles still in my CRX and I am putting down over 150lb/ft of torque with no problems at all. Get a PM6 ECU and you are good to go.

everyone suggest using the si ecu but the dohc zc integra ecu is better...but its about which one is easier for you to get...
