Have you taken your foot completely off the cluch and try again?
Sometimes it'll just be stubborn and won't go into first or reverse, and you have to give it a try or 2.
If it doesn't happen all the time or alot, then it's not something I would really worry about.
My car has trouble once in a while in reverse.

happens every once in a while; has something to do with the way the input shaft and counter shaft line up, if its misaligned after spinning down, teh synchros only help so much. I just push the clutch in/out really quick and it'll go right into gear.
