swap for a 96 hatch
i have a 96 dx hatch (sohc non-vtec) and im lookin to get some real speed in it....first of all anyone know what quarter mile time this might run stock?? i have only a few mods on it such as a muffler and a k&n air filter but im not gettin the speed i want. FOr now im savin up for rims so it will be a while before i can do any sort of swap, but i need some opinions. I have been hearing good things about the b16's and was wondering what you all think? i also have an 96 accord ex with a vtec in it, and was wondering if swapping the civic and accord engines would be any good for the civic?? i dont really care if the accord is still fast with the civic engine in it, but if i were to switch those engines, how much would that cost and what special things would i have to do to accomadate the swap???? thanks for the help
swapping an engine would be great , depending on you budget will determine the type of engine you can go with . b16 is an excellent choice ,you can also swap a b18c1 ,b18c5 ,b18b/vtec (need to swap the head for a vtec head) b20 (same as ls/vtec) and some like the h22. about putting the accord motor in to the civic
