i bought a dohc zc and looked like it jumped a tooth on the timing belt. so i looked up how to set the cams and it said that you should line up the holes in the cams under the valve cover? and that the arrows on the cam gears wont be straight with eachother. but for some reason this doesnt seem right to me. i know theres marks on the cam gears that should line up side by side and those dont really line up either. any help would be great.. and if anything i just wrote doesnt make sense just tell me.
thanks

bump.. i guess what i want to know is what marks do i want to line up? the lines on the inside, the arrows both pointing up or the holes in the cams under the valve cover?

well so far iv found out that the marks on the inside of the cams are supposed to line up.. but you can also put something in the holes on top of the cam shaft to stop it from moving and that puts it in the right spot.. but when i used the holes the marks didnt line up
