tick sound

seems like its coming from the driverside valve cover. it gets faster as i driver, and is pretty loud now...what could it be, im going to do a valve lash tomarrow. and i dont think its injectors

it could be a number of things, it could be something as simple as carbon build up or as bad as a bent rod or spun bearing...
