Velocity Funnel?
Hey guys i picked up this "velocity funnel" from autozone for 15 bucks and I was wondering...I highly doubt it...but is there a cone filter with a 6.5inch inlet? The Velocity funnel has 3"neck and 6.5"outlet. Thanks
kind of a velocity stack:

Is it exactly 6.5 . The bpi recommends K&N Filter RF-1048 but i think thats just for 6"</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes u r right, but this is half a inch longer in diameter...
So i dont even know if they make a filter that will fit that or if they do, would it be worth it?

I dunno... what did the guys that got the bpi have to say about it? I'm sure it didnt do a whole lot.. but for 15 bucks i'd give it a try, but then again your gonna have to spend around 50 bucks for another k&n filter equaling 65 bucks total.
Either way keep us posted on what happens

I believe 6in is the max inlet diameter size for K&N filters. I just tried to "search for a filter by dimension" on thier website and there's nothing bigger than 6in as an option.
it doesn't seem like it would do much but yeah 15 bucks w/e just try it out and give us an answer on it. btw that is a huge tub of meat behind the tunnel lol.

...I also went on K&N website and found out that 6" inch is the largest
...So no other company makes one larger? Also the guy at autozone said that this goes in front of a filter, I am guessing like some of the those integras with the velocity stack in the front. Iono help me out guys

thats what i wanna do minus the power chamber thing...The J-racing intake reminds me of the v2 intake which has been proven to make a lot of power for the prelude. So i was thinking j's style intake+velocity stack=really good intake power...Right? Plus it will better than the gay flebay intake
. Comments are welcomed and so are suggestions on how to put a filter on this sucka!
By the way this is the copy I was talking about:

Thats what I thought. But does anyone know what I CAN put in front of this giant velocity stack?
