EF Wagon AWD system into a EF sedan??
I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen, or heard of swaping an AWD system for an EF wagon into a sedan, or if its possible without any crazy modifications.
Anything is possible, but you will have to modifiy the undercage for install of the drive train. Definately a cool project, but not practical, it will not hold high HP.
yea i had a feeling that would have to be modified. So theres no way around only being able to use the 1.5 or 1.6 SOHC engine. I'm not sure but would that tranny beable to accpet any other engine at all??
nice, i was thinkin that too. I know the ZC bolts right in. If I do decide to take on that swap i'd like to know if thatd work for sure or if nething else would work. i'll do some more research, i couldnt find nething touogh. thanks for the input man

awsome thats pretty cool wish i could read it. Its got the stock engine though, i like to find out for sure if the ZC DOHC would bolt to the AWD tarnny, that would be nice
It's been done, a while ago there was a member of HT that had posted pics. It was a few years ago, IIRC...maybe it was turbo'd as well? Curse my old age and ***** memory...

Turbo B20 VTEC in a CRV would be awesome. Sleeper 4wd.

that would be awesome to have an awd sedan.. even if it couldnt handle alot of power.. it would be sick. why does north america get all the crappy stuff? compared to uk, japan?
I was thinkin about doin that with the Wagon too, but then i thought about how bad *** it would be to have a AWD Sedan. completely different and thats what im goin for. So how sure r u that the DOHC ZC motor works with the AWD trans??

this is true....

Ive been seriously considering doing an all wheel drive conversion on my sedan also. Im flipping in between doing that or hacking apart my 91 4WS prelude and making the civic sedan 4WS with the lude setup, if I go that way, I want the steering from the 91 vs other years cause of it being mechanical instead of computer controled.
Can you say, 4WS K powered sedan track beast?
