Hey guys, I have been in the market for an PnP HID kit for a while now, and have narrowed it down to two different Philips HID kits. They are sold by a few different places but the main thing I am having trouble deciding on is not who to buy the kit from but which kit to go with.

I was just hoping that some of you guys would have some input, whether you have used one of these Philips ballasts before or have seen them used before.

One kit is an older style ballast: About $415 shipped

LVQ 212 300

This ballast is much thicker but has the igniter built into the ballast
This ballast is also less expensive


The other is Philips most current ballast design: XLD 145 (which would come withe the new Philips Ultinon bulb re-based with a 9006 base)

About $465 shipped

This ballast is 4 mm thick compared to the LVQ which is close to 22mm (correct me if I am wrong)
The Ultinon bulb is the top of the line bulb made by Philips
