mugen head gasket stock motor?
Is it worth it to do a Mugen Headgasket on an otherwise stock motor? its a JDM GSR motor. i dont plan on revving past stock redline. heres the (short) mod list.
Omni Power Springs/Retainers
ITR Valves
Stock cams*
Mugen 2-layer Headgasket
Bone Stock block
The reason for doing the springs and retainers is to leave room for improvement above the stock cams later down the road. my ultimate goal is to get a Jackson Racing Supercharger on it. The reason i asked this question in here however is because i think you guys would know more about the headgasket.
1. Do they cuase any problems with driveability?
2. how difficult are they to tune for?
3. Is it worth the money/hassel to do on a stock motor?
4. will i see gains once the supercharger is on?
5. r will that make the supercharger more difficult to tune/run?
Thank you.

why? is it because of higher compression? it'll be around 10.8:1 i believe. thats still lower then a JDM ITR. Or is there another reason you say that?
