yea, depends on surface and tires and clutch...i chirped 3rd when my stock clutch was still ok...hopefully after some FI and a new clutch i'l be scratchin 4th ehhe

Dood, if you can't chirp your tires or break them loose, you aren't cool!

You guys know that all it is, is just a loss of traction right? It doesn't mean you're going faster, etc.

 

i can chrip 3rd sometimes but my clutch is going and it also depends on the type of ground im on

 

earlier today i was driving on a main road and was just messin with 3rd and i heard like a chirp over my system and exhaust. i think it was a chirp. could it be something else?

I have an Anti-Static Grip Modulator which allows me to chirp my tires in ANY gear I want. I am running the version 9.0.5.4 unit with the full matrix circuitry. I find it far superior to all the previous ASGM units. The new integrated hydro-electric actuator circuitry is bulletproof and it can handle as little as 25HP and no torque effectively. I suggest you look into one today!

at one time i could chirp 2nd at 3000 rpm. RIght now chirping 3rd isnt too hard...

Do they make an AWD version for Subarus? I can't chirp my tires at all...

 

They have an add-on module for the AWD cars. I hear it is very effective. It adds a second viscous coupling into the modulator assembly that handles the second set of drive wheels. I hear syncronization is a bitch though.

With my LS and ITR clutch i was chirpin 3rd with my 17's on kumho 712's easy.

Who says you can't drag race an integra? i beg to differ.

Sweet! I just ordered mine. They're on back-order, but I should get mine within a week or so. I can't wait to see the look on the next civic driver's face when I chirp 5th blowing past him at 20mph!

I will need help with the install though. I'm willing to drive up to MD and pay you, if you'll install it - I know you've got the most experience with AGSMs.

 

Did you not read Cobra's post, or maybe it's just the fact that you can't read. ITR or an aftermarket clutch, what do you think? Cobra, where did you get it for $500? Bastard. I've got the older 8.714b, but this was still ridiculously priced at $600 and up. This old version sucks too. because you couldn't chirp until VTEC engaged. To solve this problem and get maximum chirpage I ended up buying a VTEC controller and I lowered my x-over point to 2000RPM's. Now every gear is a nice chirp and that way I know I'm going quicker. I need to call the manufactuer though and get the version software installed.

BTW, Cobra, any news on that video?

That is the piece of **** APC model. It will only chirp 1-3 and it isn't real smooth.

A REAL ASGM can only be purchased direct from the manufacturer.

tires spinning up to 7000 rpm on second gear, mad wheel hop, glove compartment fell, car shakes....

yeah, turbo will do that to you..

 

Just get the JDM ASGM, you can chip sixth if you shift fast enough.

 

Those damn JDM people always get the best of both worlds. We get the new 9.x.x.x ASGM and what do you know, they get the the 10.418c ASGM. What the hell? Damn, now I want to fly to Japan....I want version 10.418c!
