ok i have a 91 civic hatch that has a obd1 conversion with a d16z6
the problem i have is my car will not start and if it does it will die immediately or it will stay running for about 5 to 10 seconds and if i hit the gas it will bog out and die
there is no codes

 

check your grounds. all of them. what ecu do ou have?

check your map sensor. make sure its connected to the throttle body and not the firewall.

it sounds like its ur map man. either is wired incorrectly, or u have ur vacuum lines incorrect.

 

hey i have a question to a previous post, what's a map on the firewall any different than one ontop of the throttle body if both get vaccum.

 

there not any different. they both serve the same purpose, just ina different location.
