i think he is asking about the height being enough to trap correctly and the width to provide adequate traction.

the height should be ok. as for the width, may be a little skinny but if you launch correctly, youll be ok.

Most hondas that have a choice in slick width run atleast 8" wide.

Hell if you got them for free, then run them until you need new ones. Definately better than street tires, drag radials! Plus free is just my price!

22" are short tires so you will be doin a lot of shifting lets put it that way. With spray you would be better off with a 24.5 honestly. Also 6" wide is pretty small, again better off with 8" wide.

The best way to answer this is just goto the track and see what happens, then come back and tell us what the deal was. I guess it's not "ALL MOTOR ALL DAY" anymore huh?

you should run at least 24.5 x 7 or you will be deep into fifth going through the traps.

I used to use 22x8x15 on my H22 prelude with a 75 shot. It would normally go 1.8 60 ft. Can't hurt to try free stuff.

http://www.housemanautosport.c...r.htm

find your gear ratios and play around with this calculator.

the trick is to use the smallest slicks that get you on the rev limit in 4th after crossing the line. who knows.. topping out 5th might give excellent results?

you can find out what mph you can expect by comparing your setup to others or dyno tuning the car (which you should do with nitrous).

on a 4.4 FD he's good for 115mph at 8K.

24.5" is too big.

i am 560 wheel and i am on 24.5's trapping top of 4th.

even with the 100 shot, he will be no where a 24.5. when i was 275 whp ish i was trapping mid 4th with 22's 24.5 will kill that car. it is too much tire for his whp level.
