Lowered and rollin' on 18's
My coilovers were just installed. I went with the KW V3's. Very nice coilover imo...I love them so far. The car handles very well with them. But when they were first installed, I had the damping and rebound at full soft, and I must say that there was more body roll than stock. But since then, I have turned the damping and the rebound up about half way and it has eliminated all body roll and now the ride is pretty stiff....well I actually have the front damping turned up slightly more than the rear. As it is right now with the damping and rebound set where it is, the car does seem to handle better than stock. I may raise the car up a bit though, due to having slight rubbing when I hit hard bumps, but it's not that bad, so we'll see...I have no rubbing going into the corners.
I also just picked up a set of 18" Volk LE37's (front 18 x 7.5 +48 offset / rear 18 x 8.5 +50 offset).
They are wrapped in Falken FK-452's (front 225-40-18 / rear 255-35-18).
This is my first set of FK-452's and so far I am impressed. I used to have the RT-615's when I had my EM1, so I will say that the FK-452's are not as sticky as the RT'615's, but they are sticky enough.
I also ordered an oem hardtop that is due to arrive this week...so I'll be putting that on shortly.
Here are some pics...enjoy.

its not that he is running too soft, it's just that his alignment is wack. anytime you touch the springs or shocks on a car you have to get it re-aligned.
roll with the UK alignment and maybe bump the camber up .1 or .2 in addition to those settings and you'll gain some clearance on the rubbing.

Well like I said, the rubbing is not that bad. Nothing to be too concerned about imo...it only rubs during hard compression of the shock (hard bumps)...taking hard corners there is no rubbing.
I still have to do an alignment and get the camber adjusted properly. The only reason why I haven't done that yet, is because I wanted to set the height that I wanted first, once I put the 18's on...and I just put them on on Saturday. So once I get the alignment and camber adjusted I'll let you guys know how it is.
I'm pretty happy with the way that it rides so far...it handles very well. I would highly recommend the KW V3's to anyone.

Are you running 17's or 18's? I'm gonna guess 17's as it would be pretty hard to be tucked on 18's and have no rubbing what so ever.
Also, what setting do you have your KW's set at?

They seem fine so far...but it's too early to tell...I've only been driving around on them for a few days..I'll let you know in a while after I drive on them for a bit. I did prefer my Rt-615's, but they don't come in the right size for 18's on the S.
The 452's are supposed to be quite an improvement over the 451's...well that's what I've read anyway. What don't you like about your 451's?

any power loss adding the 18s? I know you got volk which are light but still 18s. I been tossing and turning 17s vs 18s I love the 18s but dont want a power loss or handling loss.
NICE 98 ITR in the back ground!!! and yea nice S2k.

Actually I've had no power loss what so ever. I think that with the Volks being light and all it didn't make a difference.
