I bought a center console and armrest out of a 94 teg, but I'm not sure if it's going to work. The car it came out of was an auto, so I didn't get a boot. So my question is, if I order a shift boot with the plate in the bottom, will it fit into the auto console? thanks

take a pic of it & i'll tell you if the shape is the same as the 5spd console that i have...i do have the 5spd boot that i'm not using since i have an auto.

 

It has the same shape, you can add the boot and bracket and take out that plastic piece that indicates what gear you are in.

 

I just made some brackets to fit my boot in..I used the ITR boot and it didnt line up at all, but with some custom bracketry most things will fit (it would seem)
