They're cheap because they're frank thomas, and Cycle Gear is trying to get rid of them.
I bought a pair of frank thomas boots and within two weeks the heel had a hold wearing in the side. I traded them in for the A* SMX plus boots.

Granted you paid far less than me, so, you did get a pretty good deal. Hope you enjoy them.
