N/A LSVTEC coupe - 1/8th mile trip
Posted this in the A/C forum, but no one really cares about how fast cars are in that forum.
Best E.T. of the day was 8.56 @ 80mph (1/8th mile track, very very crappy track, BTW...)
Here's the rundown.
First pass, I bogged the crap out of it, and shifted WAY too early.
Take a look.
60 Foot --- 2.0899 (See, I told you.)
ET @ 594 ft --- 8.3768
1/8th ET --- 8.9469
1/8th MPH --- 78.93
Told you I sucked the first pass.
The second pass ended up being the best, and damn-near perfect, with the exception of not winding second out to shift light. :-/
60 Foot --- 1.8402
ET @ 594 ft --- 7.9999
1/8th ET --- 8.5622
1/8th MPH --- 80.02
Finally, after like 5 cars blew up, I got my chance to run a final time. This time, I didn't really heat up the slicks real well, and ended up missing third real bad, so I just gave up.
60 Foot --- 1.8819
ET @ 594 ft --- 8.2209
1/8th ET --- 8.8090
1/8th MPH --- 76.51
Well, that was it. After the last run, I decided it was time to go home for the evening.
And now some pics.

(That picture was taken just before I got the driver's side wheel spinning.
Damn open diffs.
)

Also at the track today was this dragster, powered by a GM Ecotec.

He never really got a clean pass, but the last I heard was something along the lines of 6.41 @ 109mph?
Thanks.

Well, considering I've already run 13.1 I sure hope so.
I'm going to a much nicer and better prepared track (Cecil County) on Saturday, shooting for some 12's.

195 whp... 13xish wtq. Pretty strong engine. Probably making more power than that but the dyno seems to read a bit low.
