Been riding since 03, but you just got a bike? Were you borrowing bikes before? Welcome.

MSF! Gear! Insurance!

Sportbikes are a great way of destroying your driving record...keep it sane out there.

I looked up info on my local MSF class, and it's an 18 hour, three day course.

Was this the case for everyone else?

.RJ v. Newk. you two can't get enough of eachother, huh?

to the OP: i also had a 3 day course..
6 hours Friday afternoon-evening for the theory and written exam
6 hours Saturday riding
6 hours Sunday riding + final test.

the course is really really fun..especially if you luck out and get some cool instructors.

any plans for mods/sliders?

The OP understood, so it is irrelevant whether or not you did.

Nice bike, welcome.

My class was Fri night, all day Sat, and all day Sun.
I would like to go back and take the "advance rider" class.
