I am fairly new with the honda thing since my previous car was a DSM. But i currently have a 2000 civic si. I have heard that there is a thing that i can buy that clips into the o2 sensor clip that will trick the computer into thinking The o2 sensor is reading properly when running a test pipe if anyone knows about this or were i can get one please let me know Thank YOU ROB

 

its called a 02 simulator

 

yeah it's called an o2 simulator. there's a few out there on the market. i know k-teller was selling one. i don't know if they work though. lol some people say they do, and some say they don't.

 

just zip tie it outside the exhaust stream. if the post o2 reads the same as the pre o2, then the ecu is gonna throw a code.

 

I run with out an O2 and its all good

 

Wrapped mine in foil (ghetto but it works) and ziptied it to the stabalizer bar on my shift linkage and havent had a problem yet
