Default Prelude Si VTEC - de-cat pipe question

I can get hold of a de-cat pipe no problem, but on ebay the sellers keep telling me they are only for uk spec preludes and not the jap spec, which mine is.
I don't think there's any difference to the exhaust system between any spec of vtec prelude, anyone tell me for sure please?? Oh it's a 1993 4th Gen.

europe has more severe emission laws, so your cat may be different. tell them to send the photo of the product and compare it to yur cat. from what i know JDM cars have smaller cats compared to EDM ones

Thanks guys, I'm going to go ahead with it. Just heard from one ebay seller that his pelude was jap spec and it fit his so I'm on to winner.
Sounds right about cats being different sizes though, I guess it must be girth that changes, the length must be the same.
Can't wait to get my de-cat done. 4-2-1 manifold next!

I have a 4-2-1 Header, and a test pipe (resonated) with a stock catback exhaust.

Its loud and raspy. I'm going to be throwing on another resonator to give it a lower sound and putting on an Apexi WSII

I put in a cherry bomb in as a resonator and it sounds great

I have the original WS and if I'm not mistaken you're already covered with the resonator. I believe the one mine came with is damn near 18 inches. Pretty quiet around town and throaty at WOT. Excellent cat-back imho
