first time changing prelude pads... question..
I have the factory service manual, but is there anything that I need to worry about from anybody's experiences with doing this? Thanks a lot.
make sure to siphon some of your brake fluid out of the resevoir, you do not want that spilling all over the place. Apply anti-squeek over the shims. Um...pressing the piston is easy with a pair of big channel locks.
dont press the piston in with channel locks, the piston needs to rotate as it goes in, if you can rotate it the piston will go right on in, i used a c-clamp that has a swivle head on it so that as it is applying force inward the piston can rotate.

A cool trick is putting the old pad on the piston and pressing the pad, not the piston down with the C-clamp. This distributes force equally. Plus, its a little quicker I think.

C-clamp.
