painting valve cover
What kind of paint should I use on a valve cover? Ive got some caliper paint laying around, and on the can it says its safe to use on engine blocks, so id assume I can also use that on a valve cover, but I just want to be sure. Its rated to 900 F.

now i just looked on another thread and someone said to use hondabond when replacing the valve cover? is this kinda like a sealer? and do i absolutely need to use it or can i just pop the gasket back in place and bolt it right back on? i dont want to have to deal with any leaks down the road.
