I recently put on a GSR 24mm front sway on my hatch about 3-4 weeks ago. But about 3-4 days ago I started hearing a thunking noise when I drive on a rough road with small bumps. I figure I'd check my endlinks since they were the last things I put on my suspension.
As I try to tighten the nut that connects the sway bar to the endlink, the nut along with the stud just kept free spinning. Is it supposed to free spin? I also believe the thunking might come from my springs because my struts are going.

For the endlinks on my GSR, you have to use a hex wrench on the end of the stud, with a wrench on the nut. I really dislike them. Not sure what you need to tighten them to, I just tightened until the bushing visibly compressed a little, then tightened a little more to reduce bushing flex (which will probably give me a short bushing life, but eh). Only redeeming quality, is if you get your car corner balanced, you can just stuff washers between the endlink itself and the bushing to make one longer and avoid preloading the swaybar.
