AJR Time attack Fit
We just received the invitation from Super Street and we will be entering the AJR Fit to attend the 2006 Super Street Time Attack at Buttonwillow Raceways CA on November 8th .
Time is really tight so we are not able to have enough time to do any engine mods so basically what we can do is to get the suspension, tires, wheels and a bunch of lightweighting.
Here's the Specs of the car :
Suspension:
T1R RR Dampers (Race version of the B-max)
Swift Springs F.12k R.10k
T1R 24mm front sway bar
T1R Lower arm brace
J's C-pillar bar/ Front and rear strut bar
J's roll center adjuster
J's Inner fender brace
Engine/Transmission :
T1R Carbon intake
T1R Header (Prototype)
T1R 50R Exhaust
Greddy E-manage
ATS Carbon clutch
J's Racing LSD
Brakes:
Spoon calipers
AJR custom rotors
AJR custom rotor spacers
J's Seido-Ya N1 500 Race pads
Goodridge brakelines
MOTUL RBF600 brake fluid
Wheels/Tires
CE28N 15x7 +35
ADVAN A048M 205/50/15
NITTO NT01 205/50/15
We will be competing some serious modded Fit and Scions. I think we will have the slowest car at the track but still we will try the best we can so Wish me luck guys
Here are some pics of the preparation.

Thanks
Ben

Here are some updates
My DIY COLD AIR DUCT

I have taken another 26 lbs today..... it doesn't sound a lot but I keep trying to bring the weight down while maintain the streetability

-The ADVAN RG2 that I am running for street weighs 34.5 lbs with Falkens RT615 205/40/17.

-These are my Time Attack CE28N 15x7 +35 with A048 205/50/15

-I was a little surprised  cuz the CE28N with A048 weighs only 28 lbs so I am 6.5 lbs lighter per corner
. Total reduction is 26 lbs.

It clears the Spoon caliper with no spacers :D
FYI, the stock wheel and tire weighs 36 lbs each.

Thanks
Ben

nice pics
the AJR Fit is by far the best looking fit on the track. any comment on how the J's Racing roll center adjuster is working out? their is a thread about it in the road racing/auto x forum and many people are concerned about the added stress it puts on the other suspension components.

Thanks ! the roll center adjuster worked well with our Fit and there were no stressing issues to other components. After we installed them, the Fit suspension went softer and lower so I have replace the front springs to 2k higher and adjust the right height again. (because there were more ssupension travel after the roll center.
