hmm, if it hasnt been used then yeah, I say go for it, you will need some more things but just do some research and find the rest of the peices then your good to go. If he bought it off fleaybay, then don't do it.

That's a pretty vague question bro...we're not so much talking about ebay now, we're talking about the sellers amongst ebay. Some actually do sell quality products, others however...you know the story.

Try and see if you can track down the seller of that turbo off of ebay. Get feedback info and etc. Start from there...if the turbo appears to be ok I would probably still rebuild it. That's just me...I have to have that assurance and peace of mind with my turbo.

Pics would be nice....

If you check the marketplace, a brand new Garrett t3/t4 runs for 555 shipped from b18bturbo. I've done business with him a few times and everything was good. I am not affliated with him in any way, just a customer.

If 500 is just for the turbo, then this isn't such a great deal.

As for a rebuild, we can give you a better price range if we know exactly what needs to be rebuilt.

He mentioned that he also has a wastgate, intercooler, and oil lines, so I assume that all this is included in the sale.

the turbo is pretty much a full kit except for the turbo manifold it comes with a skyline bov new, intercooler, wastgate, and big front mount, the turbine slightly moves to the left and right but not forward and bacwards. if i got it i would want to get new bearings and whatever common wear out parts if you know what i mean
