Default It's fabbing time! Need your help... EF Hatch Roll-bar pics?

I am getting ready to start fabbing up a rollbar along with a built-in harness bar for my EF hatch. I need lots of pictures of mounting plates & points, weld locations, bends, joints, etc. Measurements or suggestions would be helpful as well. I know this may belong in A/C but I thought i could get some help from my fellow EF'ers who have done this.

So far ive read its perfectly legal aslong as theres padding on it, however an insurance company may have a problem with it's safety....

Emissions? This is VA man... no E-test.

They may add like 120-150 lbs, but when coupled with a harness, i'll take the increased safety over a tenth of a second any day.

Have you put your cage in yet? I would suggest you attach the rear legs to the shock towers in the rear and eliminate additional strut tower bar. It will make the car a lot stiffer. The safety that a cage adds over the weight....I'll take it anyday of the week for a track car.
