Default Good radio for the lude

Car recently got stolen and they grabbed all my audio equipment.

When it comes to radios im real picky, i dont like flashy CD players that resemble a nightclub going off in your car.

What i'm looking for are recommendations on CD players (with MP3 compatibility) that match the 95 Prelude. Somethin with a black housing and maybe something to match the colors of the stock dash/cluster (i know i aint gonna find an exact match).

Thanks guys.

I agree, most alpine decks look close to stock imo. Compared to any panasonic or pioneer.( We have a show board with all 3 brands of decks in our shop)

I have a panasonic. I paid like 370 for it and it has mp3 xm aux input in the rear *actual audio plug not 3.5mm* it is a really great radio....it has 200w amp built in with a 7 band eq board and adjusting frequencies on your different outputs. it matches very well too, the only con is that the screen is blue. But i have blue gauges behind the lense and soon to do the blue on my cluster :D so it will all match

I got one more question guys.

When i bought my last CD player a few years ago, the sub woofer out option was called just that. I'm looking at these and i dont see any with that option... or at least called that. I like these particular Kenwood but dont know if it has that option or not.

i vote for alpine as well, i had a few different decks before, but none were even close to making the stock speakers sound as good as the alpine decks do.

What does it come with from the factory double or single?

The factory head unit is a single din. A double din will make it so that the pocket is not there anymore. Trust me... Get the Apline 9855. It used to cost $500, but you can get it on ebay way cheaper now that it has been replaced by Alpine by a newer unit.

Best investment i've made in a while, its an Alpine CDA-9847. Heres a link to one on Ebay. BB4ever and I have one and we both love em. You can change the colors of the power, source, l<<, and >>l buttons from i think blue, green, amber, and red and the rest of the lights are always green.
