Default IS this a good deal???

Ok here it is...

I was at the post office sending my friend in VA some prelude parts and as i was walking to my car. This cool older black man came up to me and said "you want another one of them?!" and it kinda startled me. lol... but he told me it was a 92 5spd in suburu blue, HA...i knew he was talking about that weird purplish blue the 92-93's sometimes came in. Well he gave me his business card, And i thought about it and i was kinda thinkin I should go look at it and maybe buy it. It kinda hit me hard on the way home because i have had like 6 preludes and my neighbor has really wanted one for a long time and i just figured i would let him get this one. I got home from usps and BK with my burgers and i went and told him about it so we went and looked at it. It is a 92 S 5spd 205k miles. clean int and clean ext. he wanted 600 for it but we offered 400 for it and he said yes. So what i am wondering is...Does this sound like a deal or should we talk him down some?? BTW, he says it doesnt run but thinks it may need a engine (F22A1) is what is in it now. My neighbor is gettin paid wednesday so we will go get it wednesday afternoon or thursday..

Should we get it???!!!!!!

Dont flame me for a crazy story but this is exactly what happened!!

I would like to think a decent Prelude shell is worth AT LEAST 600.

honestly i thought the guy was going to ask me for money!!!LOL!!!

but yeah he was like "imma show u a nice un" so i was like "ok"....so i got my neighbor and we liked and i said 400 and he said he bought it for 600 a yr ago and never fixed it so he just wants it gone even if he had to loose some. lol....

I feel good for my neighbor for finally being able to join the prelude community. he had a 97 ex civic ROFL.... but its gone and this will be a good project for him. He wants a H22 for it but i know the f22 trans sucks so he really needs the whole swap imho.

Don't talk him down below $400. I'd smack the **** out of you for offering me that little amount of money. If he agreed to 400, go with that.
