I know it's a little OT, but I want the opinions of my fellow R owners. The question is:

If someone was to get an alarm, is it better to put the alarm sticker on your car and advertise that you have an alarm, or to leave it off?

 

leave is off and hide the light so they dont expect it. Thats why i like the silent arming ones. They dont look like its an alarm so they just bust in and get caught

 

Id leave it off, never know if a thief is an expert in your alarm. "Dude that R has a Clifford, i can get past that like no problem" Where if you didnt have a sticker he wouldnt know and might consider it more risky.

 

Thanks guys, I guess that means I'm gonna keep the stickers off of the car. I think that's what I would have done anyway, but I just wanted some more input.

Yea, I'm not talking about stickers that give me horsepower though man, I'm talking about theft and whether or not the sticker is a deterrant or an aid to thieves.

 

No agree with this.

I want nobody to even touch my car.
I wouldn't put the stickers on, and, I would place the LED as visible as possible. It is a thef deterrant and whoever approaches know your car is protected without knowing what kind of alarm it is.
