Default DART tall deck question

This may be a stupid question but I was just curious. I bought a tall deck dart block and I was wondering if I was going to be needing a particular header now d/t the added 14mm in height of the block. thanks for any help!

nope... nearly everything for that motor will end up being custom.. rods, pistons, timing belt, header, etc

What is done too the head? valve job, pnp? I would say 225-250whp in the end depending on compression, tuning, ect.

I'm in the same boat as you there, major master, but I haven't seen any conclusive evidence that you need a custom header. I'd try contacting Larry @ Endyn to see what kind of headers he runs on his dart blocks.

B18 headers will NOT fit, custom is the way to go. I have a Dart talldeck myself and have been through this myself. Plenty of good choices out there, I went with Hytech.

My setup is 85x92mm btw, power is in my sig.

That should work, if the header has a joint like the OEM ITR header on the front of the block, adding a 1/2" spacer here would give the necessary oil pan clearance.
