I'm in the process of wiring up my conversion harness for obdo-obd1 conversion and I have 4 wires for my O2 sensor-a brown, purple, yellow, grey wires and they are all suppose to go to the 4 wire o2 sensor.I'm waiting on an engine harness so it's not like I can go out and look??
I have a black wire which I know goes to the Vtec solenoid, green that goes to the vtec pressure switch, white goes to the knock sensor (i'm not even sure if I have one of those either????
Any help?? Thanks

nope, a single wire, z6, y8,y7, and i think d15 b have 4 wire o2 sensors, put it this way if it origionally came obd1 it has a 4 wire

Doing a mini-me swap D15B2 bottom and Z6 head and trying to figure out how I'd wire the O2 sensor??? So if I have a D15 bottom and one wire O2 sensor do I not need the 4 wires to the sensor or splice them all?????

depends which ecu are you using..... If you use a p08 ecu then you only need a 1 wire o2 sensor. if you use a p28 then 4 wire sensor.................

It's a chipped P28 isn't there a cheap way out of this like a Mustang O2 sensor rather than the $120 Honda O2???

uh, you're smoking crack.
vtec-e requires a five wire o2 sensor.
d15b vtec should have a four wire o2 sensor.

This thread has to much misinfo in it... If you have a chipped p28, just burn a chip with the o2 heater removed... then you can use a 1 wire o2, and the problem is solved
