r/r'd a clutch today and on the clutch fork upon reassembly, the slave cylinder(?) extended it self all the way and now is very hard to put back to where it needs to go.

Is there an easy way to get it to collapse or do we just have to muscle it back in place?

This is my first one in over 4 years on a honda so I don't exactly remember how we did it last time.
